Can you believe it’s November already? It seems like every year flies by faster than the last. If you are in charge of planning your company’s end of year party, and you haven’t gotten started, East Coast Murder Mystery has to tips to help you out. We will assume you already have a budget in mind.

  1. Choose a location, day and time. Those might seem like three different things, but the fact is they are all related. You might have a location in mind, and you might have a date and time in mind, but if you don’t marry them up, you will not get the location you want on the day and time you want.
  2. Choose your theme. Here’s where we come in. Our murder mysteries come in several different themes. Choosing the right one sets up a perfect night of entertainment and fun for your employees, customers, and their guests. Furnishing and decorations are dependent upon your theme.
  3. Choose your food and beverages. Naturally, you cannot have a party without refreshments. Choosing your menu for party is a requirement. That means planning for all scenarios such as food allergies, dietary restrictions and other considerations. Work with your caterer to make sure you cover every base.
  4. Look at lodging options for your guests. If you are serving alcohol at your party, some guests may want to spend the evening at a local hotel instead of taking a chance getting home. Many companies work with hotels close to the party location to get discount rates for the evening.
  5. Send out electronic invites. Electronic invites such as emails or links to sites to RSVP are convenient because it allows your guests to RSVP immediately and have access to all of your information at their fingertips.
