We’re a fairly new company in the Maryland area, so we get that there are many questions. While we have a page for those, we’ve been getting some other questions to add to the list.
Here are some more frequently asked questions (and the answers, too!):
- Are murder mysteries gory? No. It’s less about the murder and more about the mystery. Think of the old-school ‘whodunit’ type books, or the movie Clue, not slasher films.
- Do I have to be a good actor? Nope. We’ll take care of the heavy-duty acting. Our team of professional actors will guide the evening. You just have to want to have fun. We do suggest letting guests know the type of party so that they aren’t caught by surprise.
- Do I need to rent out a big place for this? Not usually, but it depends on the plans and the place available. If someone lives in a 400 square foot studio and they want a ten-person party, then yeah, they’ll need a bigger place for a party. However, we can make many places work.
- Is this good for different age groups? We think murder mysteries can be great for many different ages! Talk to us about any special requests and we can tailor the experience for the age groups involved.
- Is my occasion fancy enough? You don’t need to be celebrating anything big to enjoy a murder mystery party. Some of our best events have been groups where the people just want to do something fun and different. Life is too short to not have fun. Book the party and enjoy it!
