So yeah, you can say we’re pretty pumped right now as Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC areas get ready for all the awesome spooks and ghouls that are gracing our streets. Even better than Halloween is a spooktacular Halloween murder mystery party.
Here’s how we can work with you to do it:
- Get dressed up: While costumes aren’t a requirement at an East Coast Murder Mystery party, it always ups the fun factor when guests get into the spirit of things. We get that requiring full costumes is a bit much, but having costume pieces (think hats, boas, costume jewelry, coats, etc.) can go a long way to make it a Halloween event they won’t forget.
- Get gory: We typically don’t do the blood and guts thing at our murder mystery parties, but for Halloween, we can make an exception. We’ll work with you to add a little more gore to our storylines while still keeping the mystery exciting. A bloody dagger or random eyeball never hurt anyone, right?
- Get ghoulish: Same as with gory details, we can also incorporate some ghoulish or mystical details into our mysteries. Think about adding a ghost to give clues, or a fortune teller to predict the next murder – even a witch to cast a spell.
- Get decorating: Go all out on the event space to set the mood. Whether it’s typical Halloween decor, or transforming the space to match the mystery chosen, be sure to get decorations, lighting, food, music, and even scents to transform the venue.
